Everything else you're wondering
Private or shared — what's the difference?+
Shared weeks pair you with one other foiler of your level: you split ski time and share the stoke. Private retreats are just you (or you and your crew) — total flexibility on schedule and spots.
What level do I need?+
October–April weeks suit intermediate and advanced foilers: you should be comfortable getting up behind the ski and riding open faces. New to towing? May weeks are built for progression — tell us where you are and we'll be honest about the right week.
How much actual tow time do I get?+
Six hours on the water per day with two foilers per ski. You ride in rotations — foil until your legs burn, rest, repeat. Expect more wave count in a day than most people get in a season.
What does a day look like?+
Breakfast at the quinta, on the water mid-morning for the best conditions, lunch break, second session, then private spa, and dinner at the village's best restaurants. Video review over drinks.
What about my non-foiling partner?+
Very welcome — full stay, meals, drinks and spa at 75% off the foiler price. Milfontes is a beautiful village to slow down in.
How does booking work?+
Send a trip request, we confirm your week and level fit within 24 hours, and you secure your spot with a deposit. The remaining balance is due before the retreat starts.
What if the ocean doesn't cooperate?+
We plan weeks around the Atlantic swell season and choose daily between multiple spots along the coast. Certified Nazaré drivers read this coastline better than anyone — that's the difference you're paying for.
