Namotu Island
Cloudbreak on a towfoil, warm water, and a ski waiting at the dock
You wake on a five-acre island, walk twenty meters to the boat, and ten minutes later you are whipping into Namotu Lefts with 28-degree water under your foil. The Mamanucas serve long, groomed South Pacific swell lines that feel built for towing. Twelve named foil runs sit within a short ski ride of the dock.

The water
Conditions
Southern Ocean groundswell arrives long-period and organized, refracting around the Mamanuca reefs into clean open faces. The trades blow May through October, which lines up exactly with peak swell season. Between the reef passes there is deep water for whip-ins and long connecting glides, and the local operation has mapped twelve named foil runs across the area. Water stays warm year-round, so it is boardshorts towing, no rubber.
Who it's for
Is this your trip?
Foilers who want a full-service island week: tow sessions, coaching, boats on call, and world-class reef surf on the doorstep. It also works for mixed crews and couples, since the island keeps non-foilers happy too.
